Jan. 9th, 2007 01:07 pmOne of the best things about my current job is that my classroom is up at the top of the building. I used to be downstairs, where the rain that dripped through the roof collected in damp patches and a pervading aroma of mould filled the air. Here, the rain sounds loud against the plastic windows (and pours down the walls), but continues its journey to the ground floor - when the rain stops we will dry out, soggy jotters and all. And today, the wind is wuthering properly, and the room is a box of cold January light.
